Rates per $1,000 of taxable assessed value, residential (Class 1), from Province of BC Local Government Statistics Schedule 702 (Vernon, type C). Caution: Schedule 702's regional-district figure adds together RDNO rates that apply to different bases (a land-only rate, an improvements-only rate and a land-and-improvements rate), and 'Other' includes the Vernon fire protection specified-area rate, which applies to improvements only, so the Schedule 702 total is higher than the effective rate on a property's total assessed value.
