BC Assessment, independent of the Township, values property at market value as of July 1 of the previous year (2026 assessments: July 1, 2025); the Township states that BC Assessment mails a Property Assessment Notice to the registered owner on December 31 each year. Property tax amounts themselves cannot be appealed.
