Regina bills: Taxable assessment = assessed value × provincial percentage (the City's chart, labelled 'applicable for 2025', gives 80% for residential). Municipal levy = taxable assessment × municipal mill rate × mill rate factor ÷ 1000; library levy = taxable assessment × library mill rate × mill rate factor ÷ 1000; school levy = taxable assessment × school mill rate ÷ 1000 (no factor). The components below are the uniform mill rates as published; the residential mill rate factor must be applied to the municipal and library rates, so a plain sum of the components overstates the residential rate. 2026 mill rates and mill rate factors from the City's page: municipal 12.25600, library 1.08613, school 4.27000 (residential); residential mill rate factor 0.88032 (same for condominium and multi-residential). Phase-in of the 2025 revaluation applies to non-residential properties only (2/3 of the change in 2026). The page describes minimum tax and base tax as tools municipalities may adopt but does not state an amount for Regina in 2026.

Regina compared with other Saskatchewan cities

Compare two cities

Regina's total residential rate of 1.7612% is above the 1.6768% average of the 4 Saskatchewan municipalities we cover. A lower rate does not always mean a lower bill: tax = assessed value × rate, so cities with high home values often have lower rates.
