By-law R-2026-214 art. 4 sets the general property tax as a percentage of value (equivalent to $ per $100): résiduelle 0,6621 %; immeubles de 6 logements ou plus 0,7853 %; non résidentiels 3,1521 %; industriels 2,8159 %; terrains vagues desservis 2,6484 %. The City's tax page shows the same figures 'du 100 $ d'évaluation'. The résiduelle rate applies to residential buildings of fewer than 6 dwellings. A flat water and other services tax is added per dwelling (art. 5): 315 $ per dwelling not otherwise covered (single-family on the City's table), 215 $ per apartment/condo unit and per unit of a duplex, triplex or quadruplex, 95 $ per room/unit in seniors' residences, 425 $ per community pool and 850 $ per public/semi-public pool. First year of the 2026-2027-2028 Montréal assessment roll. School tax is levied on the island of Montréal by the CGTSIM (not the City) on the uniformized adjusted value in excess of the first $25,000 (exemption), so the municipal and school rates cannot simply be added for a bill. DDO is a reconstituted city in the Agglomération de Montréal; its share of agglomeration costs is paid through its own budget (quote-part), not as a separate tax line.
