New 2026-2027-2028 assessment roll (market conditions at July 1, 2024) took effect January 1, 2026, so rates fell. Règlement 1031-000 (adopted January 20, 2026, in force January 22, 2026) and City page: résiduelle 0,445 $; immeubles de 6 logements et plus 0,580 $; dette à l'ensemble résiduelle 0,100 $ (6 logements et plus 0,130 $). Sector debt (served properties): aqueduc 0,024 $, égout 0,003 $. Tariffs per dwelling: eau 170 $, assainissement des eaux usées 72 $, matières résiduelles 180 $; pool 55 $; septic tank emptying 92 $ per isolated residence. Cross-check: MAMH 2026 prévisions budgétaires list 0.4450. School tax is billed separately by the Centre de services scolaire de la Rivière-du-Nord (CSSRDN) for the school year beginning July 1 at the single province-wide rate, and only on the value above the first 25 000 $ ('Exemption de taxe sur les premiers 25 000 $ de valeur imposable d'un immeuble'), so it cannot simply be added to the municipal rates for a bill. Saint-Jérôme also bills flat per-dwelling tariffs (water, wastewater, residual materials) and sector debt taxes on value only for properties served by the water/sewer networks (and, before 2025, for some former-municipality sectors).

Rates as published for the residential class. Bills can also include fixed charges, local improvement levies and utility fees that are not based on assessed value.
