Residential (catégorie résiduelle) taxe foncière générale per 100 $ of taxable value, plus the city-wide taxe foncière générale spéciale for the debt of the new City (2001), levied on all taxable property. Saint-Georges applies varied rates by category; for homes the City says to use the catégorie résiduelle rate (equal to the taux de base). Not included because they are not levied on every property: sector special taxes for debt on water/sewer infrastructure (properties served by aqueduct or sewer; the former City's filtration plant and treatment plant; the Saint-Jean water supply), and flat per-dwelling charges (network maintenance, waste, water, sewage). School tax is billed separately by the CSS de la Beauce-Etchemin for the school year starting July 1; it applies per 100 $ of adjusted uniform value, and the first 25 000 $ of value is exempt. 2026 (Règlement 963-2025, adopted December 15, 2025): résiduelle 0,6145 $ (= taux de base); 6 logements et plus 0,6268 $; special debt tax 0,0833 $ on all taxable property. Sector special taxes in 2026: properties served by aqueduct or sewer 0,0213 $; served by the former City's filtration plant 0,0100 $; served by the former City's treatment plant 0,0327 $; Amenée d'eau St-Jean 0,1490 $. The City's 2026 table shows flat residential charges of 50,00 $ for network maintenance (35,00 $ in the Paroisse Est sector), 171,00 $ for residual materials, 103,00 $ for water and 87,00 $ for sewage (139,00 $ in Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande). School tax 2026-2027: 0,07899 $ per 100 $ (CSSBE). 2026 is the second year of the 2025-2026-2027 roll.
