Rates per by-law 2657 (% of assessed value = $ per $100). Residual (résiduelle) category; residential buildings of 6 to 49 dwellings: 0,8899 %; 50 dwellings and more: 0,9051 % (general rate). 2026 is the first year of the 2026-2027-2028 roll (values as of July 1, 2024); the City says it reduced the rate to offset most of the average 6.5 % residential value increase and that the net increase for an average residence is 1.5 %. The City states the new value is used for 2026, 2027 and 2028 without spreading the roll increase over three years. Côte Saint-Luc is a reconstituted (demerged) city in the Agglomeration of Montréal: there is no separate agglomeration line on the bill; the City pays an agglomeration apportionment to Montréal out of its own budget (2026: $38,738,600, 40.0 % of the operating budget). A flat pool fee (tarif pour les piscines) applies to properties with a pool (private houses: above-ground 50,00 $, in-ground 100,00 $). School tax: single province-wide rate published by the Government of Québec, billed separately by the CGTSIM (the City says it is not involved), for the school year that starts July 1 of the tax year; it applies only to the uniformized adjusted value above the first 25 000 $, so it cannot simply be added to the municipal rates.

Rates as published for the residential class. Bills can also include fixed charges, local improvement levies and utility fees that are not based on assessed value.
